1-Year Certificate Program
L.A. Institute of Translation and Interpretation is approved by the State Government to provide 1-year Certificate Programs in Translation and Interpretation. We offer programs in Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Armenian and Japanese.
The student takes 2 courses per 10-week quarter, for the total of 8 courses in 4 quarters a year.
Upon completion, a Certificate in Translation and Interpretation is awarded.
Our lecturers are all State of California certified interpreters.
The courses are designed to prepare the students to pass the test to become court certified by the State of California.
Certified interpreters enjoy high income and perform the role of a bridge between immigrants and the main stream society.

The program is designed to prepare the student for the court interpreter certification test held by the State government. Certificates of completion will be given to those who fully complete the 120-hour program in Court Interpretation program.
