ABOUT THE PROVIDER
Junhui Park Joo is a State of California court certified interpreter and National Board medical certified interpreter with 20 years of experience. She is the founder and current president of L.A. Translation & Interpretation, Inc., a company that provides language services in 200+ languages and a school approved by the state government to teach court and medical interpreting. She is currently a professor of Medical Interpreting and Court Interpreting at the institute. After getting her PhD from the State University of New York at Buffalo and having taught at American and Korean universities including Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and Seoul National University in Korea, Junhui is now certified as an interpreter by the Los Angeles Superior Court, the State of California, and the U.S. Courts. She provides medical interpreting services for Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles, California.
